Why is a proofreading
service necessary?

It's important to have a document proofread by someone other than the author.

• When you are too familiar with the content, your brain tends to process what it expects to see, which makes it much harder to spot errors.
  
  

  A fresh and objective pair of eyes will detect
  mistakes that the writer is unlikely to register.
